What is Playkour?

Playkour is the idea that play + parkour can change how young people see the world.

At its core, parkour is about learning to move through obstacles with confidence. Not just physical obstacles, but the mental ones too. It’s about stepping away from chairs, screens, and self-doubt, and discovering what you’re capable of when you give things a go.

Our activations create a safe, supportive space for kids to explore movement, test their abilities, and be guided by experienced parkour coaches. Along the way, they realise they are more capable than they thought; not because they were pushed, but because they were encouraged to try.

What is Playkour?

Playkour is a fully mobile parkour obstacle course activation delivered at events across Sydney. We design, supply, set up, manage, and staff the entire experience to maximise youth engagement and crowd participation.

What ages can join?

Our activations are designed for youths aged 6+. Obstacles and challenges are scaled and adapted on-site to suit different age groups, abilities, and event environments.

How long is a session?

Sessions run on continuous rotations, allowing for high throughput across the event. Our festival activation supports up to 120 participants per hour, depending on layout and crowd flow.

Do parents need to stay?

Participants are fully supervised by our trained parkour staff at all times. Parents and guardians must stay within the vicinity to observe, but supervision and activity management are handled by our team.

What do we need to provide?

We require a suitable flat space and basic site access. All equipment, staffing, risk management, and insurance are provided by Playkour, making this a turnkey activation.

How much space is required?

Our Playkour Festival activation requires up to 200 m² with different layout design for your event to allow for safe flow, rotations, and maximum participation.

Our Mini Pop-Up is highly adaptable and can be configured to fit smaller or irregular spaces. Final layout and space requirements are confirmed during onboarding to suit the event environment.

Do we meet compliance requirements?

Playkour holds $20M public liability insurance suitable for council and large-scale public events. We also provide Risk Assessments, Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), WWCC and Event Documentation upon request to support approvals and compliance processes.

We regularly work with local councils, festivals, and event organisers across Sydney. Our activations are designed to align with council requirements, including safety management, supervision standards, and site coordination. All compliance details are confirmed during onboarding to match the specific needs of each event.
